About Us

SBS ProNet was co-founded in 1996 by Dave Thomas, a former executive with Microsoft. Built on Thomas’ belief that information technology companies lack a service perspective, SBS ProNet was developed to focus jointly on technical expertise and customer service. Today, SBS ProNet serves more than 100 clients in metropolitan Phoenix, and has grown its clientele exclusively through referrals.

Meet Dave Thomas, Found and CEO

A graduate of the Arizona State University Fulton School of Engineering with degrees in both mechanical and computer systems engineering, Dave Thomas spent eight years with Microsoft, working in licensing contract development, software development team management and Microsoft certification programs before leaving to pursue private consulting opportunities. In 1996, Thomas co-founded two technology companies, SBS ProNet and SBS Development, with SBS ProNet providing in-house technical implementations for the business management products produced by SBS Development. Based on client demand, Thomas integrated IT management into the SBS ProNet service offering soon after, and the company’s focus remains centered on those services today.
